White Belt

This certification demonstrates the recipient understands the foundational concepts in Lean Six Sigma. This is a great starting point, and it is offered for FREE.

The exam is 30 questions, and it is untimed.  When passed, recipients are sent a digital copy of their certification and badge, which can be downloaded and shared via LinkedIn.

Yellow Belt

This certification demonstrates the recipient has developed basic skills in Lean Six Sigma and can support process improvement projects. You can pursue this belt through our Certification Trailblazer program.

The exam is 60 questions (90 minutes). It is proctored using AI technology, and it can be retaken once, if needed. When passed, recipients are sent a digital copy of their certification and badge, which can be downloaded as a PDF and shared via LinkedIn. They are also sent a physical copy of their certification in the mail.

Green Belt

This certification demonstrates the recipient has developed intermediate skills in Lean Six Sigma and can lead process improvement projects within their own teams and departments. You can pursue this belt through our Certification Trailblazer program.

The exam is 90 questions (120 minutes). It is proctored using AI technology, and it can be retaken once, if needed. When passed, recipients are sent a digital copy of their certification and badge, which can be downloaded as a PDF and shared via LinkedIn. They are also sent a physical copy of their certification in the mail.

Black Belt

This certification demonstrates the recipient has developed advanced skills in Lean Six Sigma and can lead process improvement projects across teams, departments, and companies. You can pursue this belt through our Certification Trailblazer program.

The exam is 120 questions (150 minutes). It is proctored using AI technology, and it can be retaken once, if needed. When passed, recipients are sent a digital copy of their certification and badge, which can be downloaded as a PDF and shared via LinkedIn. They are also sent a physical copy of their certification in the mail.

Master Black Belt

This certification demonstrates the recipient has developed expert skills in Lean Six Sigma and can drive strategic process improvement across the organization and mentor other belts. You can pursue this certification after completing the Black Belt.

This certification does not include a proctored exam. Instead, you complete a process improvement project. When finished, recipients are sent a digital copy of their certification and badge, which can be downloaded as a PDF and shared via LinkedIn. They are also sent a physical copy of their certification in the mail.
